It just means that we can describe what God did.

It holds that this progression took place over billions of years with a huge number of detailed, elegant, supernaturally designed, inter-dependent events. This time period was utilized by God because it ultimately glorifies his power, wisdom, creativity, and beauty MORE. Part of this process included the periodic creation of new species on earth as it was shaped into humanity's home - each species had its essential place in maintaining a dynamic biosphere on the changing planet, and each biosphere was itself utilized in the creative process of moulding earth. Adam and Even were eventually created as the first humans.

Progressive creationism holds that both creation and the Bible speak only absolute infallible truth about God. However both can be mis-interpreted by our fallible human nature - but proper understandings of each can be approached by those who apply themselves. Since both speak truth, each can be utilized in helping to interpret the other. HOWEVER, the Bible is infinitely more authoritative than creation because it is the inspired WORDS of God, exactly what He intended to communicate to humanity, and is thus much harder to mis-interpret than creation. Genesis is seen as literal (not poetic or metaphorical) - the progressive creationistic account is seen as the most 'literal' way to interpret Genesis.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02149662594350828627noreply@blogger.com
